Ascable-Recael sponsors, along with other companies of the renewable energy sector, the Ressò team from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in a sustainable energy project at the European competition called Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 , which will take place on June 27th at the Palace of Versailles (France).
Consisting of a group of 50 students, Ressò’s teamwork is progressing well. By now, they have already received most of the material corporate sponsors have agreed to contribute with.
Ressò’s project involves assembling a solar installation prototype, which is initially premounted at a workshop in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona) and then moved to Versailles. The project includes placing a solar panel platform of 140 sqm .
The evolution of the live project can be followed in real time thanks to a camera installed at the workshop. A web picture gallery is also available.
With this new action Ascable-Recael strengthens its commitment to educational institutions, supporting the initiative and talent of graduate students.
